June 5, 2017 – NH Hotel Group announces that it rolled out CommPay, the industry leading commission payments solution from Onyx CenterSource, for the management and payment of all its commissions worldwide in January 2017.
Against the backdrop of the Transformation Plan the Company is executing to improve its management and organisational capabilities, implementation of this new system is enabling NH Hotel Group to efficiently fine-tune management of its commission payments worldwide, reducing its administrative load while enhancing the travel agencies’ experience. The use of a single platform designed for agents and hotels is speeding the process up, eliminating overlap and delivering more exhaustive control and oversight of all processes with third parties.
Rufino Pérez, Executive Managing Director of Resources at NH Hotel Group, said that “thanks to the agreement reached with Onyx CenterSource and the capabilities of our hotel management system, we now have cutting-edge technology that is enabling the Company to manage and pay its commissions to its distributors faster and in a more user-friendly manner, ensuring they receive their payments on time and free of error, making the entire process more efficient as a result. By globally managing our commission payment process end-to-end without manual intervention, NH Hotel Group has joined an elite group of companies implementing best practices in the industry”, remarked Rufino.
Onyx CEO Mark Dubrow said the partnership is “testimony to the value we seek to bring to the travel market. Onyx’s CommPay product will help NH Hotels deliver more value to the travel agent community by settling commissions faster and more accurately”.
The new Onyx CenterSource commissions management and payment platform, which is accessed via a secure and reliable portal, offers NH’s travel agents numerous benefits. As well as speeding up payment times, the billing process has been simplified and now takes place over an intuitive and user-friendly platform. Distributors can also make use of Onyx Customer Service and Support designed to assist the travel agents with any enquiry related with the processing of their commissions.
For NH Hotel Group, the system improves the internal processes in the hotels themselves, freeing up resources and time formally tied up in performing this function to concentrate on the generation of sales and enhancement of the guest experience.
