Onyx CenterSource Q4 Report Reveals Strong Rate Growth in EMEA and Oceania Amidst Mixed Global Performance

New data highlights regional variances in hotel commission trends with rate-driven gains in key markets closing out 2025

DALLAS, TX – February 4, 2026 – Onyx CenterSource, a leading global provider of B2B payments and business intelligence for the hospitality industry, today released its Q4 2025 Quarterly Check-In report. The latest analysis, powered by OnyxInsights, benchmarks global and regional hotel commission data, providing an essential overview of performance trends between hotels and travel agencies at the close of 2025.

Sourced from proprietary data across Onyx’s network of more than 150,000 hotels, the Q4 report offers timely analysis of key metrics such as Commissionable Average Daily Rate (ADR), Average Commission per Room Night, and Average Days to Pay. The findings point to a complex global landscape where certain regions capitalized on rate strength while others saw more modest results, reflecting uneven market conditions.

“The end-of-year data paints a picture of regional divergence, where markets like EMEA and Oceania posted significant commercial gains driven by strong rate growth,” said Akshath Dhar, Director of Business Data Analytics at Onyx CenterSource. “At the same time, a steady performance in North America and operational shifts in APAC underscore the need for partners in the hospitality ecosystem to remain agile. These insights are critical for hotels and travel agencies to refine their strategies and drive performance in 2026.”

Key highlights from the Q4 2025 report include:

  • Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) delivered a clear step up in commercial performance, with Commissionable ADR rising sharply by 12.8% to $250. This drove the Average Commission per Room Night up nearly 15%, demonstrating that rate strength was a primary factor in the region’s success.
  • Oceania also posted strong commercial results, as a 10.6% increase in Commissionable ADR to $177 helped lift the Average Commission per Room Night by over 10%. However, a rise in the pending room night ratio suggests a higher volume of in-process transactions at quarter-end.
  • North America remained largely steady, with key operational metrics holding firm year-over-year. A modest 1.8% rise in Commissionable ADR to $226 indicates resilience despite a softer market.
  • Asia Pacific (APAC) showed improving commission economics, with Commissionable ADR climbing 4.6% to $274. This was balanced by a slight slowdown in processing timeliness, as indicated by an increase in average days to pay.

The Quarterly Check-In reflects Onyx’s commitment to delivering data-driven intelligence that empowers hotels and agencies to navigate evolving market dynamics with greater confidence.
