GuestSage

GuestSage integrates directly with Onyx CenterSource to automate travel agency commission settlement for hotels. Reservations made by travel agents – arriving through the GDS, the call center, or the GuestSage agency portal – are captured with the agency’s IATA code and its commission terms. GuestSage generates settlement files on the property’s own schedule and delivers them to Onyx over SFTP, where each commission is validated against the agency’s IATA registration and paid out to the agency by Onyx.

For hotels, this removes the manual effort and uncertainty that normally surrounds agency commission. There is no spreadsheet reconciliation and no guesswork about whether a payment went through: Onyx returns an accepted or rejected status for every settlement, and that status flows straight back into GuestSage, where staff can review each agency, reservation and amount, and investigate any rejection. Agencies see their own earnings in the GuestSage portal.

Together the two systems let a property grow travel agency business without adding back-office work – commission is calculated, settled and reported as a by-product of taking the booking.
