Yield Landscape is designed for teams preparing supplier negotiations, reviewing preferred-partner performance or evaluating whether booking volume is generating the commission return it should.
The report compares your actualized commission yield and Commission per Commissionable Room Night with historical performance and a relevant peer set, helping reveal where your returns are outperforming, keeping pace or falling behind.
Commission yield is the percentage of commissionable hotel revenue that is ultimately paid to your agency as commission. It provides a consistent way to evaluate the return generated by commissionable bookings.
Commission per Commissionable Room Night, or CpCR, measures the average commission earned for each confirmed commissionable room night. Used alongside yield, it helps provide another view of how effectively booking volume is translating into commission revenue.
A yield gap may reflect several factors, including commission terms, booking or rate mix, supplier performance or payment and processing friction. Yield Landscape helps identify where the gap exists so your team can determine where deeper analysis or action is warranted.
