HITEC Toronto 2023 Recap: Uniting the Hospitality Industry with Tech Innovation
The HITEC (Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference) 2023 recently concluded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Produced by the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), HITEC brought together hospitality industry leaders, tech enthusiasts, and innovative solution providers from around the globe. This year’s event took place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from June 26-29.

HITEC 2023 was a celebration of technological advancements in the hospitality industry. The expo hall floor was abuzz with discussions as attendees explored the exhibitors’ booths. From state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) to contactless check-in systems, this year’s event showcased an array of tech offerings and service providers that cater to various sectors of the hospitality industry.

In line with tradition for its 51st show, HITEC 2023 included the HITEC Europe E20X pitch competition, where startups had the chance to pitch their tech solutions to a panel of expert judges and a live audience. This competition highlighted the ingenuity and creativity of emerging startups in the hospitality tech space and rewarded the most promising innovations.
