The Challenge
As a global company with multiple properties, commission processing was already a large undertaking for the team at NH Hotel Group. Tasks such as payment reconciliation and chasing agencies for invoices were cumbersome and kept staff from focusing on more strategic activities. As the work became more manual, the NH Hotel team sought out a solution to streamline their commission workflow.

Online travel agents, which represented a sizeable portion of their bookings, were able to proactively confirm completed bookings using the OTAStay solution, making it easier for the NH Hotel team to approve and pay out commissions. The process for collecting invoices was also optimized for the team. Due to the everevolving requirements for VAT invoices, it became a challenge for many partner agencies to keep track of current invoicing regulations. And because of that difficulty, the NH Hotel team had to spend a portion of their time reminding agencies to submit the invoices so that payment could be remitted.
