Their team places a high focus on customer experience by managing the full scope of client travel, from developing complex itineraries to handling field inquiries, and everything in between.
The Challenge
As the company’s business grew, the process of managing commissions inhouse was becoming increasingly manual. With the acquisition of companies around the globe, the commission workflow became disjointed, with a wide array of tools and technologies being used. our client sought a solution that would scale as their business continued to grow and provide a view of performance across all markets.
The Onyx Solution
With the implementation of Onyx’s RecoverPro solution, our client was able to move the administrative functions of commission processing out of their finance department, freeing up the team to focus on strategy and service. And while Onyx handled much of the automation related to the commission workflow, a dedicated Client Manager was available to proactively offer recommendations for performance improvement.
According to the team, RecoverPro’s built-in reporting tools also provided
significant value. By centralizing performance metrics, they were able to quickly and accurately drive insights that help the team improve overall hotel yield.
The RecoverPro Reporting Portal gave users insights into their global behavior, but still allowed them to look at each market in isolation. As a global business, teams are on multiple GDS’ and not on the same ecosystem worldwide, so Onyx gave a full holistic view of the business. Being able to access this level of data was invaluable and has been key in streamlining the commission.
